Work causes 1-way traffic on Highway 128 bridge

By From page A3 | December 13, 2012

FAIRFIELD — Only one lane will be open at a time until Friday on the Highway 128 bridge over Putah Creek.

The state Department of Transportation is doing a slab replacement project on the bridge in Solano County near Winters. Eastbound and westbound motorists will have to wait at a temporary traffic signal until they get a green light and can cross the bridge.

Motorists should allow for extra travel time, a Caltrans press release said.
