Office of Education collects winter clothing for homeless youths

FAIRFIELD — The Solano County Office of Education is collecting winter clothing for homeless children Thursday through Nov. 16.

Officials are collecting new or like-new jackets, hats, scarves, gloves, socks and shoes for children ages 4 to 19.

Donations can be dropped off at the Solano County Office of Education, 5100 Business Center Drive, Fairfield; Golden Hills Education Center, 2460 Clay Bank Road, Fairfield; Cordelia Library, 5050 Business Center Drive, Fairfield; and Sutter Hospital Care Centers, 2700 Low Court, Fairfield, 770 Mason St., Vacaville, and 100 Hospital Drive, Vallejo.
