By From page A4 | April 18, 2014

FAIRFIELD — A bridge on Highway 128 over Hopper Slough in the heart of Napa County Wine Country between Yountville and Calistoga will be closed from noon May 5 until May 16.

The state Department of Transportation will be repairing the support wall. This section of Highway 128 is also known as Rutherford Road, a Caltrans press release said.

During the bridge closure, motorists heading onto the Highway 128-Hopper Slough Bridge will need to use detours on nearby Highway 29, the Silverado Trail, and Zinfandel Lane.
