FAIRFIELD — A free, three-month educational program is scheduled to help family members understand and support loved ones suffering from major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and obsessive compulsive disorder.
The National Alliance of Mental Illness Solano County is offering the Family-to-Family class. The first session is from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 9, 2014, at 490 Chadbourne Road, Suite A, in Fairfield.
Trained volunteers who also have family members with a serious mental illness are teaching the course, a NAMI press release said. To register, please call 451-4788 or 290-3137.
