More Highway 12 night closures coming

By From page A4 | November 11, 2012

FAIRFIELD — Highway 12 in Jameson Canyon between Fairfield and Napa is scheduled to see more overnight closures Monday through Friday.

Closures are to begin each of those nights beginning at 11 p.m. and end the next day at 5 a.m. Workers will be doing drain and culvert work as part of the Highway 12 widening project. The state Department of Transportation advises motorists to use Highway 37 in Vallejo to make the trip between Interstate 80 and Highway 29 during those times.

All work is weather permitting, a Caltrans press release said. The National Weather Service on Friday predicted a chance of rain Tuesday and Wednesday.
