FAIRFIELD — Highway 12 in Jameson Canyon will be closed at nights next week as crews continue to work on drainage and safety barrier placement.
This latest round of closures will be overnight from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Oct. 4, ending at 5 a.m. Oct. 5. They follow similar nighttime closures this week. The work is part of the widening project for this link between Solano and Napa counties.
The state Department of Transportation recommends drivers travel between Interstate 80 and Highway 29 during the closures by using Highway 37 in Vallejo. Another possibility is American Canyon Road.
