Miss Teen Vacaville rehearsals set to begin

The week aheadVACAVILLE — Applications are being taken for the Miss Teen Vacaville, Miss Vacaville and Mrs. Vacaville competitions that will take place May 10 at the Vacaville Ulatis Performing Arts Theater.

There also will be pageants for Little Miss Vacaville and Little Mr. Vacaville.

Rehearsals begin at 7 p.m. Monday at the Danc-Sing Stars Studio/Missouri Street Theatre, 1125 Missouri St. in Fairfield. The Teen division is open to girls 13 to 16, the Miss division is for those aged 17 to 28 and the Mrs. division is for those 20 and older. There are no talent or swimsuit competitions.

The pageant for Little Miss Vacaville and Little Mr. Vacaville will also take place May 10, with divisions for girls and boys. The divisions are for babies, 1- to 2-year-olds, 3- to 4-year-olds, 5- to 6-year-olds, 7- to 8-year-olds and 9- to 12-year-olds. Contestants will be judged on beauty, poise and personality.
