By From page A4 | April 16, 2014

RIO VISTA — A bridge on a Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta highway in one of the more remote parts of Solano County is scheduled to be closed from noon May 12 until May 21 for repairs.

The Miner Slough Bridge carries Highway 84 over Miner Slough at the northern end of Ryer Island. Repairs are to take place over three months as crews replace a bridge deck, a state Department of Transportation press release said.

Detours will involve using the Real McCoy II and J-Mack ferries.
