FAIRFIELD — Solano County ambulance representatives will make a presentation about a local program this month before an international audience.
Medic Ambulance was invited to present an abstract on the company’s new advanced life support nursing service at the Mediterranean Emergency Medicine Congress, which will take place Sunday through Sept. 11 in Marseille, France.
Details of the invitation were announced Wednesday.
The ALS RN program provides an additional level of transport service for the county’s residents as well as a new career path for registered nurses, according to a Medic Ambulance press release.
Medic Ambulance has its headquarters in Vallejo. It holds the contract for countywide ambulance service. Vacaville is excluded from the contract.
