Library hosts teen photo contest

FAIRFIELD — Solano County Library seeks the best photos from teenagers as part of its Teen Photography Contest.

The 10 winning photos will be featured during Teen Tech Week, March 9-14. The grand-prize-winning photo should best commemorate the library’s 100-year anniversary, with the theme, “From the written page to the digital age.”

Entrants must be 13 to 18 and submit their work by 9 p.m. March 3 to [email protected] The limit is one photo per person per day.

The grand prize is a digital photo frame. The photo may be printed in the next issue of the library’s Check It Out! publication and used to promote 100-year anniversary events. All 10 winning photos will be featured on the home page of www.solanolibrary.com and all 10 winning photos will be displayed in gallery shows at all Solano County libraries.
