Land Trust offers Get the Rush event

The week aheadSUISUN CITY — The monthly Get the Rush celebration will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Rush Ranch.

It’s a series of activities offered the third Saturday of each month. April’s will include Smithy Virgil Sellers and his team demonstrating traditional blacksmithing skills; Little Bear at a table of Native American tools and decorations, where he will talk about his life experiences and the history and culture of Native Americans; a horse-drawn wagon ride; and more.

There is no RSVP necessary. Rush Ranch is at 3521 Grizzly Island Road, about 2 miles south of the Highway 12/Sunset Avenue/Grizzly Island Road intersection. For more information, call 432-0150, ext. 200, or email [email protected]
