FAIRFIELD — Solano Land Trust will offer both a leisurely hike and moderately paced hike March 29 in its Rockville Trails Preserve.

The moderate hike will take about four hours and will go up and down the rocky terrain. Participants will learn about nature, local history and geology. The leisurely hike will take five hours, allowing more time to look at wildflowers, oaks, views and wildlife. Participants will have time to write in nature journals.

Both hikes begin at 9 a.m. and are free.

Rockville Trails Preserve is located in the hills above Suisun and Green valleys and is open only to guided hikes. Participants will meet at the red “Ice House” building on Suisun Valley Court near the intersection of Rockville and Suisun Valley roads and then go to Rockville Trails Preserve.

To register for the moderate hike, visit http://conta.cc/1ktiLIc or 330-7263. For the leisurely hike, visit http://conta.cc/1cJeCrC or call 745-1913.
