FAIRFIELD — Solano Land Trust is looking for volunteers to help build wildlife escape ramps for water troughs.
Wildlife as well as livestock use the water troughs on Land Trust ranches. The ramps help birds, bats and small creatures get out of the water safely.
The event begins at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 20 at the Rush Ranch open space, which is located on Grizzly Island Road about two miles south of Highway 12 . To participate, please contact Sue Wickham at firstname.lastname@example.org or 432-0150, ext. 207. Participants should bring gloves.
