Lake Solano Park site of next Kids Day of Fishing

FAIRFIELD — The eighth annual Kids Day of Fishing at Lake Solano Park is June 21.

The event is open to 100 children. Priority is given to special needs children and underprivileged children ages 3-13.

Supplies are included. Ponds are stocked with catfish and bass. A barbecue lunch is provided and derby shirts will be provided.

Pre-registration is required. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Any open spots after 9 a.m. are on a first-come, first-served basis.
