Historical society hosts event in Birds Landing

BIRDS LANDING — Birds Landing and its history will be the focus of a Solano County Historical Society event.

The society will have its Birds Landing BBQ Celebration at noon July 19 at the Birds Landing Firehouse, 2151 Collinsville Road. Birds Landing is a small town in the Montezuma Hills.

After lunch, participants will hear about the history of Birds Landing and see its buildings. To order tickets and get more information, call 447-0518.
