Highway 12 to have nighttime closures

By From page A3 | January 29, 2013

FAIRFIELD — Highway 12 through Jameson Canyon will be closed Thursday and Friday nights so workers can do underground drainage work as part of the Highway 12 widening project.

The closures will begin at 11 p.m. and last until 5 a.m., a state Department of Transportation press release said. Only Jameson Canyon residents and emergency vehicles will be allowed on the highway during these times. All work depends on the weather.

Caltrans advises motorists to make the connection between Interstate 80 and Highway 29 by using Highway 37 in Vallejo.
