Health care groups schedule 3 blood drives

FAIRFIELD — Three blood drives hosted by NorthBay Healthcare and BloodSource are coming to the area.

The first is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Green Valley Administration Center and Health Plaza, 4500 Business Center Drive in Fairfield. No appointment is necessary, but signing up for a designated slot can save time. Visit www.bloodsource.com/drives and enter the location code H102 to sign up, an event press release said.

The second is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 19 in the Solano Town Center parking lot, adjacent to  NorthBay Medical Center, just off Pennsylvania Avenue in Fairfield. Use location code H101 to get an advanced slot for this drive.

The final drive is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 20 at the VacaValley Health Plaza, on the NorthBay VacaValley Hospital campus at 1000 Nut Tree Road in Vacaville. Location code is H100.

Organizers request that donors eat and drink prior to donating blood and bring a picture identification. For more information, call Julie Rottmayer at 303-4016.
