Great Bowls of Chili Challenge returns to Benicia

FAIRFIELD — Benicia Main Street is bringing back its Great Bowls of Chili Challenge with chili tastings, a live rockabilly band, raffles and more.

The event is from noon to 4 p.m. March 23 at the Clock Tower, 1189 Washington St. The event is a competition featuring businesses, organizations and individuals to make the best-tasting chili in town. A panel of three judges will choose.

There’s still space for contestants. Registration forms can be downloaded at www.beniciamainstreet.org. For tickets or more information, call 745-9791.
