By From page A3 | September 27, 2012

GORDON VALLEY — The Gordon Valley Volunteer Fire Department is having a vintage car show and fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 7, with proceeds going to support the fire department.

About 40 vintage and antique cars and trucks from the 1940s and 1950s will be on display at 6485 Gordon Valley Road. There will be raffles and wine-tasting as well as food and refreshments for sale. Last year’s show brought in several hundred people and raised $2,200 for the fire department.

The fire department is made up of a dozen volunteers and two trucks, which provide fire and emergency services to Gordon Valley and the surrounding area.
