FAIRFIELD — Rep. John Garamendi will host 10 town halls early in 2014, including four in Solano County on successive Saturdays.

“I’ve always believed the best ideas, suggestions and solutions come directly from local residents,” he said in a press release.

The 10 meetings, held over the next three months, will be in an open question-and-answer format. Garamendi, D-Walnut Grove, represents the 3rd Congressional District.

He’ll be at the chambers of the Solano County Board of Supervisors from 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 8. The board chambers are at 675 Texas St. in Fairfield.

The congressman will take part in three town halls on Feb. 15: from 10 a.m. to noon at the American Legion hall, 1305 N. First St. in Dixon; from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building at 610 St. Francis Way in Rio Vista; and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building at 549 Merchant St. in Vacaville.

The reason John Garamendi is now paying attention to the voters of Solano county is because Dan Louge is the real deal. Dan Louge who now serves in the California Assembly will carry out the will of his voters. Not like Garamendi imposing Nancy Pelosis policys on us.

John Garamendi acts like he has no mind of his own every time Pelosi asked him to jump he asked "How High". Im ready for somone to vote as the people of this district would want them to. My vote will be for Dan Louge. Contact Solano Republicans at 707 422 5000

Stop the campaign stumping and answer the question Congressman Garamendi! I don't like State and local government but don't they deserve relief from your EPA's budget busting mandates?

It may all be moot. Garamendi is seriously considering running instead in Congressional district 11 being vacated by another useless career politician, George Miller. Go Dan!
