FAIRFIELD — Local students have the chance to earn a Fulbright Scholarship and study theater in London at Shakespeare’s Global Education Theater Program.

The theater program is run by the American Institute for Foreign Study and was chosen by the Fulbright Commission as one of its summer institutes for the next three years.

Scholarship winners will attend the program for three summers from 2013 through 2015. It runs June 17 to July 5. A majority of the program costs will be covered included airfare, tuition, fees, accommodations, insurance, social programs and meals. Students will study with actors, directors and other theater practitioners.

The deadline to submit applications is March 11. For information and to apply, go to www.aifsabroad.com/england/londonglobe/summer/fulbright.asp.
