Free information session set to discuss citizenship

The week aheadFAIRFIELD — Representatives from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will host a free information session Saturday at the Fairfield Civic Center Library.

Government staff will discuss citizenship eligibility and residency requirements and offer information on the application process. Representatives will also demonstrate the citizenship interview and offer sample questions from the citizenship test as well as an overview of U.S. history and civic principles.

The two-hour session starts at 10:30 a.m. at the library, 1150 Kentucky St. For more information, call Sharon Rummery at 415-987-0191.
