First 5 offers grants for Children’s Month activities

FAIRFIELD — April is Children’s Month in Solano County and First 5  Solano is offering grants for community events.

Ten grants of up to $300 each are available to parents or community groups. Events must raise community awareness or provide education about the health, development, safety or school readiness of children age 5 and younger and their families, or support activities promoting the well-being of children. Events must take place during April in Solano County.

Go to www.first5solano.com for applications and details. Applicants must submit applications by March 21.
