Energy workshop to benefit Solano homeowners

RIO VISTA — Several local agencies are putting on an energy-saving workshop Wednesday for Solano County homeowners.

The workshop will teach homeowners how to access rebates of up to $4,000; how to lower greenhouse gas emissions and reduce carbon footprint; lower or eliminate utility bills; and improve home-comfort and indoor air quality.

Energy Upgrade California, Solano Center for Business Innovation and the city of Rio Vista are putting on the event, which runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Rio Vista Fire Station, 350 Main St.
