Deadline to request vote-by-mail ballots nears

By From page A5 | May 18, 2014

FAIRFIELD — Citizens must complete vote-by-mail ballot requests with the county Registrar of Voters by May 27 to vote by this method in the June 3 election.

They can return vote-by-mail ballots through the close of the polls at 8 p.m. on Election Day. Vote-by-mail ballots returned after June 2 will be counted after the election due to the ballot verification process, a county Registrar of Voters press release said.

Citizens who have not received their vote-by-mail ballot or have questions about how to request one for this election should call the Registrar of Voters at 784-6675, the press release said. Go to www.solanocounty.com/elections for information on the coming election.
