Your state and community doesn’t deserve a single defense dollar. Labor costs here are unionized and too high. You allowed encrochment of the base to happen in the form of housing developments and wind turbines to be built. Putting 2 bird attracting landfills at the ends of both runways was stupid and endangered many airmen who thought you were on their side. Then there’s the crime problem. Congress and the defense department doesn’t want a base next to your marijuana dispensaries.
