County schedules 2 free flu shot clinics

FAIRFIELD — Solano Public Health is offering two free clinics where people can get flu vaccinations.

The first will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the County Services Center, 355 Tuolumne St. in Vallejo. The second will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Vacaville Public Library – Cultural Center, 1020 Ulatis Drive in Vacaville.

These clinics will offer only the seasonal flu vaccinations. They will not offer pneumonia or whooping cough vaccines.

    Do your research before getting the jab. Don't just do it because it's fun and everyone is doing it. Some people have suffered terrible side effects. Be informed.
