By From page A4 | March 15, 2014

FAIRFIELD — It’s a good time for anyone interested in adopting a pet from Solano County Animal Care to take home a new companion.

Solano County Animal Care has reduced the price of adoptions to $17 starting Saturday through March 22. The regular price for cats is $80 and for dogs it is $95. In addition to the adoption fee, there are also fees for microchips and rabies shots for the animals.

The shelter’s hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. The shelter is located at 2510 Clay Bank Road, Fairfield.
