Community sorority chapter to host local author

Pamela Young, author of  “Anybody’s Daughter,” is scheduled to appear at an event Saturday sponsored by the Solano Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

The event will be 4 to 7 p.m. at Paradise Valley Estates, 2600 Estates Drive in Fairfield. Time will be allotted for questions and answers, book purchasing and signing.

“Anybody’s Daughter” is the story of a 13-year-old who becomes ensnared in the world of human sex trafficking. Young won a 2014 Image Award for the book from the NAACP, the nation’s oldest civil rights organization.
