CHP collecting toys for children

FAIRFIELD — The California Highway Patrol is collecting new, unwrapped toys for the CHiPs for Kids program.

The program collects toys for various local charities and organizations in Solano County to help families in need during Christmas.

Drop off donations between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until Dec. 19 from at the following locations:

  • DMV Fairfield, 160 Serrano Drive.
  • Solano CHP Office, 3050 Travis Blvd., Fairfield.
  • DMV Vacaville621 Orange Drive.
  • DMV Vallejo, 200 Couch St.
