VACAVILLE — The renowned filmmaker whose video led to the resignation of journalist Helen Thomas will bring his world tour to Vacaville this month.
Chabad of Solano County will host speaker David Nesenoff at 6 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Hampton Inn & Suites, 800 Mason St. in Vacaville.
Nesenoff is known for his interview at the White House with Thomas, a former White House correspondent, when she said, “The Jews should get the (expletive) out of Palestine and go home to Poland and Germany.” Those words, caught on video by Nesenoff, eventually led to her being forced to resign.
In addition to Nesenoff’s behind-the-scene details of his White House episode, he will share with the audience everything from his faith, Israel, anti-Semitism and his personal journey, according to a press release. His presentation, “To Catch an Anti-Semite,” is a story of hatred found on the Internet, life-threatening danger and humor, according to a press release.
There is a fee. For more information or to RSVP, visit www.JewishSolano.com/Nesenoff or call 592-5300.
