By From page A4 | March 15, 2014

FAIRFIELD — Area residents have a chance next week to walk through an oversized, inflatable colon as part of a health program in Vallejo.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 22 at Sutter Solano Cancer Center, 100 Hospital Drive. It’s part of national Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

Participants will take part in an interactive teaching tool to help explain the risks and symptoms of colon cancer. Included with the colon tour are educational lectures on early detection of colon cancer and healthy eating tips.
