Cajun and Blues Festival returns to Isleton

The week aheadFAIRFIELD — A little bit of the Louisiana delta with its bayou cuisine, music and family fun comes to this area once again with the 2014 Cajun and Blues Festival on Father’s Day weekend, Saturday and Sunday.

The new location for the Isleton Chamber of Commerce event, which draws in national Louisiana and Texas Grammy-winning entertainment, is within the Delta Loop at the Delta Boat Storage grounds, 950 Brannon Island Road, in Isleton. The location is just off of Highway 12.

Parking is free and festival shuttles will make regular runs throughout the Delta Loop.

Tickets are available at the Isleton Chamber of Commerce, 23 Main St. For more information, go to festival’s website at www.isletoncajunfestival.net.
