By From page A4 | August 23, 2014

FAIRFIELD — Gov. Jerry Brown signed legislation Friday that includes two bills proposed by State Sen. Lois Wolk, who represents the 3rd District that includes Fairfield, Vacaville, Rio Vista and Suisun City.

One measure by Wolk, D-Davis, requires the director of the Department of Pesticide Regulation to enforce regulations for safe carbon monoxide pest control devices for the protection of public health.

Wolk’s other measure includes a provision to permanently establish the Duck Stamp Advisory Committee in state law.
