Black history celebration set this weekend in Suisun City

SUISUN CITY — There will be a Black History Month celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Joseph A. Nelson Community Center, 611 Village Drive in Suisun City.

It is sponsored by the Fairfield-Suisun City-Vacaville Section of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc.

There will be praise dancers, Caravan of All Stars Blues Band and vendors, plus middle and high school student oratorical contests. Admission is free.
