Birding hike coming in American Canyon

AMERICAN CANYON — A bird-watching hike hosted by the Napa Solano Audubon Society will take place on the American Canyon wetlands trails on Saturday.

The hike begins at 9 a.m. It will include a short workshop on basic bird identification. Birds in the area range from raptors to hummingbirds to songbirds to ducks to wading birds.

Children are welcome with adult. No dogs please. Participants will meet at the trailhead near the parking lot at the corner of Eucalyptus Drive  and Wetlands Edge. Go to  www.napasolanoaudubon.com for more information, an Audubon press release said.
