SUISUN VALLEY — Autumn is about The Crush in Suisun Valley and a whole lot more.
Wineries are bustling with activities. Grapes are being harvested and turned into what the winemakers hope will be award-winning wines.
Meanwhile, produce stands continue selling their fruits and vegetables, though some begin to shut down as the autumn wears on and winter nears. Autumn brings such added products as pumpkins.
Farmers are baling hay. They are harvesting walnuts. They are waiting for the olive harvest that comes in November and December.
It’s the last burst of activity before winter arrives, the rain starts, the days grow cold and Suisun Valley activity slows down – at least until next spring.
