Agency on Aging selects state representatives

FAIRFIELD — The Advisory Council of the Area Agency on Aging Serving Napa and Solano has selected two representatives to serve four-year terms in the California Senior Legislature.

One is Lauren Rolfe of Suisun City. She is an incumbent, having served in the California Senior Legislature since 2008. She is retired after a career that included being the director of the In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority in Solano County.

The other is Robert Hertan of Vacaville. Hertan is a retired naval officer and retired California peace officer and is adjunct faculty, associate professor for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide Campus, Travis Air Force Base.

Established by state law, the California Senior Legislature helps preserve and enhance the quality of life for older Californians and their families. Established in 1980, the Area Agency on Aging Serving Napa and Solano is a nonprofit organization providing services that support seniors in their own homes and communities for as long as possible.
