FAIRFIELD — Solano County 4-H clubs will have their annual Harvest Fair from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at Suisun Valley Elementary School, 4985 Lambert Road.
The Fairfield-Suisun area clubs are hosting the event this year. Attendees are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes.
Each of the 12 clubs in the county will have a carnival-type booth. There will be a cake walk. There is a nominal fee for the games. A food booth will sell dinner and snacks.
In addition to the carnival, a peanut butter drive will take place, with donations distributed to food closets in each community of the county. Admission to the Harvest Fair is a half-dozen cookies to share and a jar of peanut butter.
The 4-H Club program is open to all youth from kindergarten through age 19. For information about the 4-H Youth Development Program, contact Valerie Williams, Solano County 4-H Program representative at firstname.lastname@example.org
