Rio Vista chamber to form economic development committee

RIO VISTA — The Chamber of Commerce is forming an economic development committee dedicated to attracting and increasing new businesses, jobs and economic activity to Rio Vista.

This committee will work closely with city government, and county and state economic and development boards in achieving the city’s goals.

Meetings of the committee are scheduled for 8 a.m. the second Wednesday of each month at One Main St. The first meeting is Feb. 13, with guest speaker Mayor Norman Richardson.
