RIO VISTA — The City Council is set to discuss possible fee increases Thursday for the use of city facilities.
The item was moved from the Feb. 7 council meeting after several groups and individuals spoke up about it.
A study conducted by city staff indicated Rio Vista’s fees are dramatically lower than neighboring cities. The proposed fee schedule change would increase the fees for use of city parks, the city’s Egbert Field and several city facilities, including the airport meeting room, youth center and several senior center rooms.
The council will consider offering the Rio Vista Little League city sponsorship not to exceed $4,500 to help with the fee increase.
Council members will discuss both items at 7 p.m. Thursday at One Main St.
