By From page A9 | October 02, 2013

RIO VISTA — The California Department of Transportation announced Tuesday that the Real McCoy II ferry from Rio Vista to Ryer Island will be temporarily taken out of service Wednesday for regular maintenance.

The ferry will be out of service from 10 p.m. Wednesday to 4 a.m. Thursday.

The Real McCoy II, also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service on Highway 84 between Ryer Island and Rio Vista. During the service interruption, Caltrans recommends that motorists use Highway 160 and the J-Mack Ferry on Highway 220.
