RIO VISTA — Motorists on Highway 12 east of Solano County in the San Joaquin County section of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta will face nighttime delays this coming week.

Workers are scheduled to install concrete k-rail barriers from Potato Slough to the Sacramento County line. They will allow only one direction of traffic to flow at a time on the two-lane road, with delays of 20 minutes expected. Work will be from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday, a state Department of Transportation press release said.

Also, crews are to close the connector ramp from westbound Highway 12 to Interstate 5 from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday, the press release said.
