Council to set goals for new Rio Vista city manager

By From page A3 | February 02, 2014

RIO VISTA — New City Manager Tim Chapa, who started in December, will receive a goal and project list Tuesday from the City Council.

Staff reports indicate the purpose of the list is to “provide criteria for an effective evaluation . . . . The City Council will identify and prioritize a list of goals.”

Individual submittals from the council will be reviewed and prioritized during the meeting and will serve as a “benchmark for the initial evaluation” of Chapa, which, per his contract, is to happen at the six-month mark.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m., One Main Street, in Rio Vista. For more information on the agenda, go to www.riovistacity.com.
