Broken traffic signal slows Highway 12 traffic
RIO VISTA — A late-afternoon traffic signal breakdown Friday in rural Sacramento County backed up traffic across the Rio Vista bridge and into the small Solano County city.
The signal light at the intersection of Highway 12 and Highway 160 just east of Rio Vista malfunctioned at around 4:40 p.m., according to information from the state Department of Transportation.
Traffic backed up in both the eastbound and westbound directions.
