Glen Faison

Glen Faison joined the Daily Republic as managing editor in September 2009. He previously worked as a reporter and editor for daily and weekly newspapers in the San Joaquin Valley for 20-plus years. His experience includes time as editor of the Golden Eagle, a military paper serving the Lemoore Naval Air Station. He graduated from Fresno State University with a bachelor's degree in journalism and bleeds Bulldogs red. He is an avid Washington Redskins fan, and attended the 1988 NFC Championship Game against the Minnesota Vikings at RFK Stadium. He married his wife, Jill, in 2005, and has three children: Courtni, Tyler and Hayli.

    What does it mean when the report states: "late" next to the violation, even though the time was stated. anyone???

    One of my questions is well I haven't seen it in the paper but how can Ot be a shooting even though no one was hit that I know of but why it hasn't been in the paper and half the ff police dept was there this is crazy our city needs to know what's going on this is just rediculous come on now y'all need to put all stuff like this in paper people have a right to know

    concerned citizen, shooting means a weapon was fired. Shot means something or somebody was hit. The Significance is important depending upon which side of the gun you're on...;)
