TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE — The 60th Force Support Squadron has been awarded the Air Mobility Wing Curtis E. LeMay Award for being the best force support squadron in Air Mobility Command, the 60th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs Office announced Friday.

The annual competition determines the best force support squadron, evaluating each base on its leadership, programs, management, personnel, facilities and equipment. The award is named after Air Force Gen. Curtis LeMay, who was a proponent and architect of making Air Force a global force.

The 60th Force Support Squadron will now compete at the Air Force level for the Air Force LeMay Trophy, according to the press announcement.

I remember General Lemay and if he were around today as Chief of Staff, far more heads would roll and there would be less corruption and coverups in today's "diversity perversity" Air Force. Major Jill Metzger and her enablers that have cost the treasury and morale greatly would stand trial. There wouldnt be any fraudulent award of disability pensions or a lowly commendation medal with a "V" device that wasn't earned. Lemay would spit on this current failed war strategy that's dragged us down for over 11 years now. Lemay would have hated and dissaproved of Obama, Hagel, Kerry, the treasonous Clintons and all of their minions. Lemay was a highly effective leader and even mundane things that boost morale like the Base's Auto Hobby Shop MWR program are attributable to him. Today's Air Force leadership looks weak and insipid compared to Curtis Lemay's strong legacy in war and peace.
