Travis communications squadron earns honor

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE — The 60th Communications Squadron was recently recognized for its excellent support of the Air Force mission as a communications and information organization, according to a Wednesday announcement from the Travis Public Affairs Office.

Several of the squadron’s members were also honored with Air Mobility-level awards.

Senior Master Sgt. Jamie Clancey earned the Gen. Jumper Outstanding Enlisted Award, Tech. Sgt. Joshua Liebold was named Air Force Outstanding Cyber Systems Operations Noncommissioned Officer, Staff Sgt. Joshua Ritchie was named Air Force Outstanding Client Systems NCO, Staff Sgt. Benjamin Morris was named Air Force Outstanding Radio Frequency Transmissions System NCO, and Senior Airman Richard Rodriguez named Air Force Outstanding Airfield Systems Airman.

An award for Air Force Outstanding Information Assurance Element was awarded to the 60th Communications Squadron’s Information Assurance Flight.
