Service members with county ties graduate, promote

Air Force Airman Rio Cornell D. Golo graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio. She is the daughter of Lila and Rey Baraceros of Fairfield.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Marshall T. Grundy graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio. He is the son of Juliet M. Hutton and Doug G. Grundy of Vacaville. He is a 2014 graduate of Vacaville Christian High School.

Air Force Master Sgt. Eric A. Larson has arrived for duty as the operations section chief with 607th Material Maintenance Squadron in Daegu Air Base, Korea. Larson is the son-in-law of Peter M. Gaudet of Fairfield.

Navy Seaman Apprentice James M. Maasin recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill. He is the son of Elias M. and Edna M. Maasin of Fairfield. Maasin is a 2007 graduate of Rodriguez High School in Fairfield.

Andrew W. Mcgee has been promoted to the rank of staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. Mcgee is the son of Gregory and Julia J. Mcgee of Vacaville. He is a 2007 graduate of Vanden High School in Fairfield. Mcgee is stationed at Travis Air Force Base.

Air Force Reserve Airman Levi T. Pallinger graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio. Pallinger is the stepson of Sean P. O’leary of Fairfield. He is a 2009 graduate of Vanden High School in Fairfield.
