Army Golden Knights to perform at Air Expo

By From page A3 | January 31, 2014

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE — The Army’s Golden Knights aerial demonstration team will perform both days of the Travis Air Expo open house May 2-3, according to that team’s website.

The Golden Knights, whose history extends back to 1959, travels around the world as ambassadors for the Army, showing off that service’s professionalism, precision and discipline.

The Golden Knights join the Air Force’s premiere aerial demonstration team, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, as headliners at the Air Expo.

Travis expo planners are in the initial planning phases of the open house and will release information on performers and other events as they are confirmed.
